Schools have their own side of Plus Pay.
A school collects the way anyone else does, but it collects from the same families every term — so it gets a fee catalogue, per-child bills, a canteen, petty cash and a desk that runs in a browser. Every payment is recorded against the child’s Plus ID.
Questions people ask.
Does the person paying need the app?
No. They open your link in any browser and pay. The app is for the people collecting — what is owed, what has landed, and the door.
Where does the money go?
Through Pesapal, and Plus Pay holds it against your account until it is settled to you. We never ask anyone for their mobile money PIN.
What if a phone dies on the payment page?
The receipt still arrives. The record is written by our servers when Pesapal confirms, not by the payer’s phone, so a dropped connection cannot lose a payment.
What if a payment cannot be completed?
The money comes back on its own, to the same MoMo, Airtel Money or card, and the payer is told in plain words what happened. Stuck payments are checked every 30 minutes.
Can someone else work the door for me?
Yes. Add their email as a steward and they can scan tickets and see who has arrived — but never what has been taken. Remove the address and they are out at once.
